Det er litt vanskelig å tenke på USA som et sykkelland. Sammenliknet med Frankrike, Nederland og Danmark er det ikke tvil om at amerikanerne har mye å lære. Men Adventure Cycling Association gjør en formidabel jobb! Jeg planlegger å følge den grønne ruten som går fra Virginia, men starte litt lenger nord. Ruten går ned til kysten i Oregon, mens jeg satser på å ende i Seattle.
It may be a bit hard ro think about the US as a country for cycling, and compare to places like The Netherlands, France and Denmark, there is obviously a lot to learn. But the Adventure Cycling Association does a great job! I plan to start in Washington DC, a little north of where the green route starts, catch up with it and go west, then north. The Transamerica-route ends up on the Oregon coast, I plan to end in Seattle.
