We prolonged our stay in the jungle, so much that you get two slideshows. To the left, from walks in the jungle. To the right from our trip up the river. A couple of hours up the Tambopata River we found the jungle lodge wher we stayed for some days. We had a very good guide, teaching us a lot of cool things. When the rest of our group finnished their trip, we stayed on. One evening we went into the jungle for the night. We cruised up the river to one of the famous clay licks. Parrots and other birds get too little minerals, and compensate by eating dirt from the riverbank. |
