Arequipa, across the mountains to Colca
Arequipa is a very Spanish town, as it is one of the few colonial settlements not build on Inca ruins. From there we went high up in the mountains, before comming to the Colca valley, about 3500 meters above the sea. We got our first experience with the high altitude.
The Colca canyon is home to a lot of Condors, and we had an amazing experience there.
